An Egyptian passenger plane, EgyptAir MS181, has made an emergency landing on Cyprus after being hijacked 1 by a man wearing a suicide vest.

The hijacking 2 of the flight which was en-route from Alexandria to Cairo and carrying 82 passengers and a crew of 7, was confirmed by EgyptAir on Twitter at 7.40am GMT.
埃及航空公司于当地时间7点40分在Twitter上证实，这架被劫持的飞机的航线是从亚历山大港飞往首都开罗，飞机上共搭载82名乘客及7名机组成员。
A Cypriot government official said that there are suspicions of a bomb on board.
