China is discussing possible cooperation with international counterparts, including the European Space Agency (ESA), on building the international "Moon Village", according to Tian Yulong, secretary-general of the China National Space Administration.
国家航天局秘书长田玉龙日前表示，我国正在与欧洲航天局(ESA)等国际同行商讨合作建设国际“月球村”的可能性。
The ESA has announced plans calling for the use of robots on the moon in the 2020s to begin constructing facilities, followed a few years later by the first inhabitants.
ESA已宣布规划称，要在本世纪20年代在月球上使用机器人开始进行设施建设，几年后月球将迎来首批居民。
Jiao Weixin, a professor at the School of Earth and Space Sciences in Peking University, said that China's participation 1 in the international construction of the "Moon Village" manifest China's open-mindedness, and its willingness to create common benefits and win-win results for the international community.
