Shanghai tops the list of most popular cities in China for expats in a survey released last Saturday.
上周六公布的一份调查显示，上海名列最受外国人欢迎的中国城市的榜首。
Famous for its international atmosphere and multicultural 1 environment, Shanghai is the most attractive city for foreigners, followed by Beijing and Hangzhou.

The financial hub scored highest in the ranking's four key criteria 2 of policies on foreign professionals, government affairs, working environment and living environment.
上海在该排名的四个关键指标中高居榜首，分别是：外籍专业人才政策、政府事务、工作环境和居住环境。
The other seven cities on the list are Qingdao, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Guangzhou, Nanjing and Changchun.
其他上榜的7个城市分别是青岛、天津、深圳、苏州、广州、南京和长春。

This study is conducted by International Talent magazine and the China Society for Research on International Professional Personnel 3 Exchange and Development to promote Chinese cities among expats. The survey has been carried out each year since 2010.

About 25,000 foreign professionals took part in the survey through either face-to-face interview or online questionnaires in December and January.

China has become a popular destination for many foreigners due to its favorable policies and good career opportunities.
