The IAAF world championships here in Beijing have come to an end.
On the final day of competition, it was China's Lv Huihui taking silver medal in the women's javelin 1 with a new Asian record of 66.13 meters.

China's Zhang Guowei has been forced to settle for silver in the men's high jump.

Kenya has earned the top spot at this year's IAAF Championships, topping the medal standings with 7 golds, 6 silvers and 3 bronzes.
Jamaica came in 2nd, followed by the United States.
China finished up in 11th place with 1 gold, 7 silver and 1 bronze.
