1.Dozens of people are hurt after their American Airline’s flight from Miami skidded 1 off the runway while landing in a heavy rainstorm in Hinston Jamaica. Nobody was killed, the plane skidded to a stop just ten feet short of the Caribbean Sea.
2.The Senate holds one last test vote on the health care overhaul today. A final vote has now been moved up to Christmas eve morning. So Senators can get out of Washington for the holiday break.
3.Rapper T.I. has been released from a federal prison in Arkansas. Real name Clifford Harris, he's been a sentence on weapons charges since May. T.I. is now headed to a halfway 2 house in Atlanta where he is expected to stay at least three months.
4.These are no tiny elves. Elephants serve as Santa’s helpers in Thailand today, giving out Christmas presents to hundreds of school kids. The holiday event has become an annual tradition at the school.
