Big-budget biopic "Grace of Monaco" will hold its world premiere at the opening of the Cannes Film Festival in May. Festival organizers said on Friday that the film about Grace Kelly, directed by Olivier Dahan, will open at the event in May this year.
The film stars Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly, who went from Oscar-winning actress to princess of the Mediterranean 1 principality not far from Cannes.
However, The Weinstein Company, the film's distributors, said on Thursday that the movie won't open in the US on March 14th as previously 2 planned.
The trade paper The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Dahan has been at odds 3 with Weinstein over the film. The late Princess Grace's family earlier criticized the script as overly glamorized and even inaccurate 4.
