More than 2,200 delegates are attending the CPC National Congress. Together they represent over 70 million CPC members throughout the country from different ethnic 1 groups and all walks of life.
42 of China's 55 minorities have sent their delegates to the CPC national congress. More than 30 delegates representing non-state-owned enterprises are also participating.
Statistics show nearly 20 percent of all the CPC delegates at this year's National Congress are below the age of 45, with the youngest being 23 years old.
