斯特凡与达蒙正打算离开神秘瀑布镇，但变成吸血鬼的罗根的突然出现打乱了他们的行程。当利兹警长告诉达蒙又有一起袭击时，他表示愿意帮助寻找真凶并得知了有关小镇创始者家族的重要信息。罗根声称知道通往教堂下面的方法，并约达蒙在教堂旧址见面告知详情。但没等罗根赴约，他就被新来的历史老师阿拉里克杀了。
