励志!英国一肥胖男子被游乐园拒绝之后怒减一半体重!

 　　A 32-stone man decided 1 to turn his life around after being kicked off a ride at Alton Towers over his Obese 2 frame.

　　在奥尔顿塔主题公园游玩时因肥胖而被拒绝之后，一位体重32英石的男子下定决心要彻底改变自己的人生。
　　James Dunn, 28, felt so humiliated 3 he gave up pasties, sausage rolls and sugary drinks to transform his body a year ago.
　　二十八岁的詹姆斯·邓恩当时感到颜面尽失，于是从一年前开始就远离馅饼、香肠卷以及一切含糖饮料，以此来改变自己的身材。
　　Now James weighs in at less than 15 stone and says his hard work has changed his life.

　　He claimed the stress of studying while working two jobs meant he filled up on convenience food and skipped exercise.
　　他声称自己在学习之余还要做两份兼职，重压之下他只能用快餐充饥，并且也没空运动。
　　He told the Liverpool Echo: "I'd always skip breakfast, and then for lunch I'd have pasties, sausage rolls, white bread and I'd drink sugary drinks.
　　他在接受《利物浦回声报》采访时表示："我总是不吃早餐，所以吃午饭的时候我就用肉馅饼、香肠卷、白面包来充饥，同时我也会喝含糖饮料。"
　　"Then about four times a week I'd have takeaways, I'd eat whatever was convenient, and it would always be in huge portions that just weren't normal. I'd eat pizzas, Chinese, Indian, but not a portion that a normal person would eat. They'd always be massive portions."
　　"然后每周我大概吃四次外卖，只要方便我什么都吃，并且一般都不点正常分量的，我点的是大份的。我那会儿会吃披萨、中国菜、印度菜，但是我点的都不是一个正常人吃的量，我一般都点大份的。"
　　Eventually, his weight issues got so bad he was kicked off a ride at Alton Towers when the safety bars wouldn't fasten - leaving him "mortified 4" and wanting to change his ways.
　　最后，詹姆斯的体重问题真的太严重了，终于在他在奥尔顿塔公园玩的时候，由于安全杆套不紧所以被赶了下来，这让他羞愤不已，下定决心要改变自己。
　　James tried a number of diets - but his fear of failure meant he always did them in secret leaving him with no incentive 5 to succeed.
　　詹姆斯尝试了很多种节食方法，但是由于害怕失败，这一切他只敢偷偷地进行，这让他的踌躇满志很快偃旗息鼓，节食计划自然收效甚微。
　　He said: "I did the meal replacement 6 shakes, all the weight loss clubs - I'd tried them all really, but I always did them in secret because I thought it didn't matter if I failed then. When they failed I didn't have to tell anyone and I suppose I wasn't accountable for the results."

　　However James life was turned around last year, when he saw an advert 7 for a Channel 4 show which promised to help turn people's lives around.

　　After a number of auditions 8 over skype and some video interviews, he was selected to take part in Davina McCall's Make My Body Better.

　　To kick-start his weight-loss, he was given gastric 9 sleeve surgery - where around 3/4 of his stomach was removed - but claims the real difference was made when Davina and her team introduced him to Liverpool-based personal trainer Mark Grice who placed James on a gruelling workout schedule.

　　As well as daily workouts, James swapped 10 his usual diet of pasties and takeaways for a protein-rich mealplan with vastly reduced portion sizes and says he "couldn't have done it" without Mark.

　　James now plans on visiting schools with Mark to educate children on the dangers of childhood obesity 11 and how to make healthier choices, and says that "prevention is better than cure".
