Most application forms for jobs or further education include a section that asks you to write a paragraph or more about yourself. This could be in a general way, which is often called a personal statement, or as a response to a specific question. The types of question you might be asked are:

From your answer they will decide whether they are interested in you, so it is important to make a good impression. We asked some employers 4 for some tips on how to create a positive effect. Here's what they said:
