 　　Duanwu Festival, which is also known as Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional and statutory holiday originating in China.

　　端午节，又称为龙舟节，是一个起源于中国的传统法定节日。
　　It is associated with a number of East Asian and Southeast Asian traditions in Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia.
　　它与越南，新加坡和马来西亚的东亚和东南亚传统有关。
　　In Mandarin 1, it's known as Duanwu jie, the festivities held on the fifth day of fifth month at the Chinese lunar calendar, the date varies from year to year on the Gregorian calendar.
　　它在普通话中称为端午节，庆祝活动在中国阴历的五月初五举行，每年的公历日期都不同。
　　This year the holiday will fall on June 12, the festivities is held each year to commemorate 2 the death of Qu Yuan, a patriotic 3 poet who lived during the Warring States Period about 2,000 years ago.
　　这年的假期将会在6月12日，每年举行庆祝活动是为了纪念屈原之死，他是一位生活在约2000年前战国时期的爱国诗人。
