Rap and hiphop is popular with the kids. Country is really popular where I’m from though. But my genre of music is big band jazz and swing.

I know about the billboard 5 list. But what other lists are there? How do songs get chosen for these?
我们都知道公告牌，除此之外还有什么别的榜单吗？还有，他们是怎样选择歌曲的？
Well, a lot of time people are flipping 6 through the radio stations, when a certain song comes on, a radio will receive a spike in listeners because so many people stop on that station. I imagine that’s how the songs are chosen for the billboard lists.
很多时候，当人们随意切换电台并且停留在某首歌时，如果其他人也像你一样，电台将收到激增的听众。我想这就是“公告牌”的歌曲的选择列表。
1 genre
n.(文学、艺术等的)类型，体裁，风格
