To nip jealousy 1 in the bud, first youhave to take ownership of your feelings and understand how your behavior impactsyour partner.

For example, if your partner does notfeel good when you stay out late with a co-worker, this doesn't mean that youacquiesce to everything your partner wants.

However, it goes a long way when you sayto your partner, 'I know that you feel upset with the amount of time andattention that I am giving to this other person. I don't want you to feel thatway.'
