1.Hang on please. 请稍等，请不要挂断
A:June, hang on please. I will be right back.
B:Okay.
A：朱恩，请不要挂断，我马上回来。
B：好的。
2. Hang up 挂断
A: She hung up on me.
B: Did she? she must've been mad.
A：她挂断了我的电话。
B：是吗？她肯定是发怒了。
3.I'll call him back. 我会再给他打电话。
A: I'll call him back.
B: Okay, he will be back at three.
A：我会再给他打电话。
B：好的，他三点会回来。
4.Put...on 让……和我讲话
A: Could you put Alice on?
B: She is all tied up.
A：能让爱丽丝和我讲话吗？
B：她在忙。
5.Telephone conference 1 电话会议
A: Do you have telephone conference tonight?
B: I do. I have telephone conference almost every night.
A：你今晚有电话会议吗？
B：是啊，我差不多每天晚上都有电话会议。
