主试人玛丽测试应试人庄凌宇的打字速度，最后的测试结果令她十分满意。
Mary: May I help you?
Zhuang Lingyu: Yes, I'm looking for a job as a clerk typist in English.
Mary: I'm Mary Kelly. May I ask your name?
Zhuang Lingyu: My name is Zhuang Lingyu. How are you, Miss Kelly?
Mary: I'm glad to meet you, Mr. Zhuang. Sit down, please.
Zhuang Lingyu: Thank you, Miss Kelly.
Mary: What are your qualifications for being a clerk typist?
Zhuang Lingyu: I can type 120 words a minute and I take shorthand 1 at 80 words a minute.
Mary: Would you be willing to take a typing and shorthand test?
Zhuang Lingyu: Yes, I would.
(After testing)
Mary: Your typing and stenography 2 are pretty good. Would you be interested in applying for the job?
Zhuang Lingyu: Yes, I'd like to give it a try.
Mary: All right. You need to have an interview with our manager, Mr. McBride. Let's go to his office.
