Nancy：What sports do you play?We say the word“play”with sports，Victor，when the sport is a noun and not a verb.
Victor：大家一定要注意在play后面一定要加的是名词，而不是动词。
Nancy：So you can play basketball，football，tennis or baseball.
Victor：Nancy刚才说的所有的球类运动都可以用play这个词。
Nancy：But you can’t play swimming，and you can never ever play bowling，that’s a very common mistake.
Victor：Nancy别说了，我以前就犯过这样的错误。千万别在swimming或bowling前加play，是错误的。
