Unit one: Buying cinema tickets.


P1: Maple 1 Leaf Movie Theater. Good morning.


P2: Good morning. I’d like to buy too tickets for this evening's performance of Star Wars Episode 2 three .


P1: I’m afraid that sold out this evening. Would you like to come on a different evening? We have tickets left for tomorrow.


P2: yes, tomorrow will be fine.


P1: Good, we have two seats in the back row. Is that all right?


P2: Yes. That’s fine. I’ll take them.


P1: thank you very much. That’s sixteen dollars, are you paying by credit card?


P2: Yes, a visa card.


P1: What’s the card number and expiry date,please?


P2: The card number is 7359968732644875 . Expiry date is September 2008.


P1: Thank you very much. You can pick up your tickets at the box office at any time .remember to bring your credit card.


P2: Thank you, goodbye.


Unit two: Buying theater tickets.


P1: Good morning. Can I help you?


P2: Yes, I’d like to buy some theater tickets, please.


P1: Which play or show would you like to see?


P2: I not sure. What would you recommend?


P1: Have you seen Beauty and the beast?


P2: No.


P1: It’s very good. it’s one of the most classic plays in the world.


P2: Do you have any tickets for tonight's performance?


P1: Yes, I have two seats in the stalls 3 and three in the dress circle. Which would you like?


P2: What’s the difference, please?


P1: The stalls are downstairs on roughly the same level as the stage. the Dress circle is upstairs above the stage.


P2: How much are the seats ,please?


P1: The seats in The stalls are 45 dollars. The ones in the circle are 35 dollars.


P2: I’d like two seats in the stalls, please.


P1: Thank you. That’s 90 dollars please.
