A: Look, Jimmy's report came today.
看，吉米今天的成绩单。
B: Let's have a look. What is this? Where are all the grades?
让我看下。这是什么？所有的成绩在哪里？
A: He's in the third grade Sam! You see under each subject that he is being taught in school, he receives a mark from one to three. A one means his achievement or work is excellent. Here in Science for example he got a two, which means its satisfactory 1.
山姆，他在三年级！下面是他在学校学的课程，他得了一个从1到3的标志。一个A表示优秀。这里是理科，他得了一个2，意思是合格。
B: What about here in physical education?
体育课怎么样呢？
A: He got a three here which means it's unsatisfactory. We should work on that with him.
他了一个3，表示不满意。我们应该就这个方面和他谈谈。
B: So confusing! In my day we got an A or B if we were doing well and if we failed an exam we would get an F!
不是很清楚！我们上学的时候如果考得好的话就得A或者B，如果我们考得不好就得一个F！
