  B: No , but she told me to telephone her next week .


  A: Thank you for coming for interview last Tuesday . we have considered your application carefully , but we’re afraid that we are unable to offer you the post . While your secretarials skills are well up to the standard required , I did not feel that your commend 4 of French was sufficiently 5 good for our purposes . In addition , you seem to lack confidence 6 in dealing 7 with people , which will certainly be a handicap 8 if you want to work as an receptionist 9 . May I suggest that you might do better to look for a job involving ruling office work ?
