F: Yes. We have this large guide book or this pocket guide.

F: Thank you. Anything else?
M: No, thank you.
F: That’s 6 pound 95, please.
M: Here you are.
F: Thank you. 5 pens change and your receipt 2.
M: Thank you, good bye.
F: Goodbye.
A: Excuse me. Can you tell me the way to baker’s street, please?
B: Yes. Go along this road for about 200 yards, you come to some traffic lights, go straight ahead, at the next traffic light turn right, and the baker’s street is the third street on the left.
A: Thank you very much.
B: You are welcome.
TRACK TWO
ASKING AND GIVING DIRECTIONS
A: Right, I think that’s all the shopping.
B: Good, Jenny.
A: Yes?
B: I am very thirsty.
A: Me, too. Excuse me.
C: Yes?
A: Is there a café near here?
C: Ah, yes. Go along this road until you come to a T-junction, turn left, and there is a café about 50 yards on your left. It’s opposite the cinema, you can’t miss it.
A: Thank you!
C: Don’t mention it.
A: Excuse me. How do I get to the library, please?
B: I am sorry, I don’t know. I am a stranger here, too.
C: I know, it’s next to the station.
A: Where’s that?
C: Go along this road, and take the second street on the left, the library is on the right, between the big hotel and the station.

C: That’s ok..
