by the US justice department. Yesterday it said it was launching an investigation 1 of the Chicargo Illinois police department. The announcement came days of protest in the city and release a video from Oct of last year.That's when 37 year-old Jason , who is white, shot and killed Lokwan Mcdonald,a black 17 year-old. The teenager was armed with a knight 2 and apparently 3 had the drug PCP in his system. The video shows him approaching, and then moving away from polic officier who has gun drum. Officer Vandie eventually opened fire, shooting Mcdonald 16 times. Some of the police who were there said Mcdonald had approached and threatened Vandia before the shooting. But last month, officier Vandia was charged with first degree murder. On Nov 24, the video was released to the public and protest lasted for days. Demonstrators accused Vandia of abusing excessive force and other policeman of dishonesty. City reports last week indicate that what the police on the scene said appeared different from what the video shows. They also question why it took city one year to release the video and charge officier Vandia they demanded the Police Chief and the Mayor resign. In this investigation, the justice department is trying to determine wether the Chicargo police had made a habit of breaking the law or violating the USconstitution.
Specifically we will examine a number of issues related to the Chicargo police department use of force, including the use of deadly force, racial, ethnic 4 and other despiraty abuse force and counterbility mechanism 5. To ask justice department to investigate that, the US spring court is also looking in an issue potentially involving race. It's about a race factor in Jewish election. A number of study found have that potential black Jewries are struk from cases higher rates than potential white Jewries.
Artical 3, section 2 of US constitute states that the trial of crimes shall be by jury. states the amendment 6, the jury should be in partial , but could discrimination lies in ? challenges...
