 First up today, a prisoner exchange.Bob Burgdol was last American soldier held captive from the wars rock Afghanistan. The 21-year-old army soldier when missing while employed Afghanistan in 2009. He was released by Taliban Saturday. In order to get that done, the Obama administration released 5 men from US military prison in Guantanemo Bay Cube. These are photos, attained 1 by wikileaks that match the names were released by US Department of Defense 2. The Department of Defense would neither confirm nor deny their accuracy. We cannot tell you that the five men release were the members of Taliban, Afghanistan's former rulers and has suspected ties to terrorist. The US has had a policy that not negotiate with terrorists until the Republican Congress say Obama administration broke the law over the exchange. It didn't tell Congress 13 days in advance of the deal. The Defense Secretary  Chark Heigol says the US acted fast because sargeon burgdol's health was getting worse. There are a lot more to answer the questions including how and why Burgdol disappeared.


 
 
We do have details how he was recovered. I'd like to say Bob right now having in trouble to speak English. .....I am your father though. And emotional moment that Burgdol's parents stand with the president. I just want to say thank you the everyone as supported Bob. After nearly 5 years in captivity 3, the son Bob is coming home. Next story, the head of US department veterans' affairs has resigned. The Republicans and Democrats 5 had been pushing for Eric Shinseki step down. The department he led has been caught up in a scandal over health care for American veterans. Thousands of them has reportedly have to indefinitely to see the doctor when they need to. Veteran affairs says 23 people have died of waiting across the country. The source tells the CNN early this year that 40 had died in one city alone in Arizona. numerous other VA hospitals are now being look up for possible misconduct. There have been problems of VA facilities for decades but Eric Shinseki said the situation can be fixed 6 and next department has the tough task of leading that process and getting veterans the health care that they need.
