Narrator 1: There was a big fire
in town the other day.
Father, Sandy and Sue 2
watched it
from the street.
Sandy: What’ll the fireman do now, dad?
Father: They’ll climb that ladder.
Sue: Look, dad!
There’s a man at the window.
What’ll he do?
Sandy: He’ll jump.
Father: No, he won’t.
The fireman will reach him.
Father: Look!The fireman
has already reached the man.
Sandy: Now they’ll climb down the ladder.
Sue: There’s a lot of smoke
coming out of that window.
Father: They were just in time!
