  Unit 1 6 Visiting A Farm

May 3rd, Sunday fine

Today we visited a farm. Early in the morning, we met at the school gate and went there together. The farm workers gave 2 us a warm welcome. Then the head of the farm showed us around. How glad we were to see the crops 3 and vegetables growing well. At noon 4, we had 5 a picnic lunch in the sunshine 6. After a short rest, we have great fun, singing and dancing, telling jokes 7 and stories. Two of us even 8 played a game of chess. The time passed quickly. Before we knew it, we had to say goodbye to the workers.
