There a bomb has ripped through a crowded bus stop in Jerusalem, killing 1 at least one person and injuring more than 30 others. Authorities said the bomb was hidden in a bag at the side of the road near the bus station. It's the first terror attack in Jerusalem in seven years, and police have blamed Palestinian militants 2 for the blast.
In Syria, security forces have opened fire on anti-government protesters at a mosque 3 in the city of Deraa. At least five people died and scores were injured. Police also attacked mourners at the funeral of two people killed during an earlier protest.
