The English actress Googie Withers 1 has died at her home in Sydney aged 2 94. The stage and screen actress starred in many productions in the UK before continuing her career in Australia. In 1980, she become (口误，应为became) the first non-Australian to be awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia. Her last film role was in a 1996 Australian movie called Shine.
I called at the Windy City, but even by Chicago standards, it would take a pretty huge gust 3 to lift a dress this big. An eight-metre sculpture of Marilyn Monroe in a famous pose from the film The Seven Year Itch 4 has been unveiled on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. Created by artist Seward Johnson, the sculpture is already a hit with tourists.

And you might remember these little blue creatures from your childhood. Yes, the Smurfs. They originated in Belgium and made figures of cartoon in Europe and the US more than 25 years ago. Now they are hitting the big screen in 3D. In the film the evil wizard Gargamel played by Hank Azaria chases Smurfs through a magical portal into New York City. They end up with a married couple played by Neil Patrick Harris and Glee’s Jayma Mays. Smurfs 3D opens in the US later this month.
