Actor Charlie Sheen has announced he’ll return to television in the new comedy “Anger Management”. The show is based on a 2003 movie of the same name starring Adam Sandler. Sheen will take on the Sandler role in the TV show and retain an ownership stake in the series. He was TV’s highest paid actor for his role in “Two and a Half Men”, but was fired after lashing 1 out in a public rant 2 against the show’s creator Chuck Lorre.
Jailed US rapper Ja Rule has been sentenced to 28 months in prison for failing to pay more than $1 million in taxes. The 35-year-old hip-hop singer and actor is already serving a two-year jail sentence on a weapons conviction in New York. Ja Rule, or Jeffrey Atkins, had previously 3 pleaded guilty. His two sentences will be served back to back. Ja Rule received a Grammy nomination 4 in 2002 for the album “Pain is Love”.
And parents, cover your children’s ears. The Wiggles will mark their 20th birthday with a national tour in October. The group will once again load up the big red car for more 50 shows across the country. The three-month tour will be staged in a 3,000-seat arena 5. Band member Jeff Fatt is recovering from emergency heart surgery, but he says he’s ready for the tour.
