All stock markets across the globe haveended a tumultuous week with gains. In the United States, markets ended thesession stronger for a second day in a row partly thanks to positive salesfigures. The Dow is up 126 points; the Nasdaq has risen 15 points.
European stocks have also rebounded 1 following reassuring 2 data from the EuropeanCentral Bank's overnight loan facility. The FTSE has finished up 3 per cent atover 5,320, as we can see there, while the DAX is up 200 points. In Asia, the Hang Seng ended the week 25 points higher. Japan's Nikkei,however, has continued its dip below the 9,000 level.
And back home, the Australian share market has closed stronger after arelatively stable trading session on Friday. The ASX 200 is up about 0.8 percent while the All Ords gained 34 points.
And the Aussie dollar is hovering 3 around 103 US cents.
