Taking a look at the weather satellite image. Cloud across the Northern Territory, South Australia, Victoria and western New South Wales could lead to rain and storms, patchy cloud is streaming into Queensland, bringing possible tropical showers.
Around the states. In Queensland, there will showers about the east coast. Afternoon showers are expected over inland eastern districts as well as the western Cape 1 York Peninsula and western gulf 2 district. Dry over the remainder of the state.
In News South Wales, there is a chance of showers near the Victorian border, fine elsewhere.
Scattered 3 showers in Victoria's south during the afternoon and a chance of thunderstorms near the north, but though be easing during the evening.
In Tasmania there is a chance of patchy drizzle 4 about the southwest, but otherwise fine.
To South Australia, scattered showers and thunderstorms about the northeast. A mild to warm day ahead in the north.
In WA there will scattered showers over most of the state with possible hail over northern parts of the southwest land vision, the Gasgoine and gold fields.
And isolates 5 showers across most of the northern territory.
And looking ahead to tomorrow. It will be partly cloudy in Sydney and Melbourne with a chance of showers. Fine in Brisbane, Canberra and Adelaide. A shower or two in Perth and Darwin and partly cloudy in Hobart.
