The competition regulator says there's a good chance Telstra's structural 1 separation plan will be approved early next year. China's rate of inflation has fallen in November to its lowest pace in 14 months. The country's consumer price index rose by 4.2 per cent in the year to November, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. Checking the markets now, local shares finished lower as uncertainty 9 continues over Europe. The All Ordinaries index fell 1.7 per cent. The ASX 200 dropped 78 points to 4,203. European markets have closed higher. The FTSE 100 was up 45 points.
