To the satellite imaging, broken cloud in a trough is stretching from coast to coast, causing widespread rain. Cloud over the southeast with a cold front is triggering showers and some alpine 1 snow.
A high over the Tasman is directing moist air onto the Queensland coast, producing cloudy periods and some rain above the Atherton Tablelands, also over the southeast.
New South Wales will see some light rain and showers spread across the state, apart from the southwest where conditions will remain mostly clear.
There's a high chance of snow on the Victorian Alps above 1,600 metres along with some thunderstorms in the southwest of the state, isolated 2 showers elsewhere.
Scattered 3 showers and isolated thunderstorms above the north and west of Tasmania. And light showers elsewhere, easing during the morning.
Some showers on South Australia's east coast are being caused by the Thailand, that cold front which is bringing snow to the Alps further east.
Western Australia will see some showers over the coast and a mostly clear day elsewhere.
And there will be the odd spot of rain in the southern regions of the Northern Territory along with a chance of some odd showers across the northeast during the day.
Around the country for tomorrow, an overcast 4 day for cities along the east coast with some subzero temperatures inland overnight. Cool in Hobart and Adelaide, some thunderstorms for Perth. And a hot day in Darwin.
