Julia Gillard tried to focus on industrial relations and creating an open dialogue on climate change. The Opposition 1 leader Tony Abbott tried to push his paid parental 2 leave scheme and maintained the Coalition's attack on Labor 3's border protection policy.
And Election 2010 is shaping up to be a close race according to two polls out today. In the Newspoll, Labor's two-party preferred rating dropped from a 10-point lead to a four-point lead, and dissatisfaction with Ms Gillard rose 8 per cent to 37 per cent. But both polls show Labor still with an election winning lead.
