They’re the shocking photos of a once muscular star looking frail 2 and ill. Matthew McConaughey snapped over the weekend, looking extremely gaunt, his cheeks sunken, in his close barely hanging onto his wire thing frail. But thankfully McConaughey isn’t sick. He’s undergone his radical 3 30-pound transformation 4 to play an electrician diagnosed with AIDs in the upcoming film The Dallas Buyer’s Club.
I just kind of staying myself and I have been in this lifestyle and I was in the night great.
He recently spoke 5 with Larry King about losing the weight.
It takes a while for your body to understand that it has to feed off itself, and that you’re not going to give it something else from the outside.
The weight loss even more joined in when you look McConaughey’s last movie Magic Mike.
I think I see a lot of law breakers up in this house tonight.
But his dramatic transformation from this to this is making waves. It’s a 360-degree turn for a Hollywood hunk, known as for his physique even entitled by People magazine in 2005 as the sexiest man alive, leaving many to wonder how far is too far for an actor to go for a role.
Losing weight like this in that dramatic fashion, it messes with the way your liver and kidneys processes the vitamins and nutrition. It’s very dangerous.
But McConaughey isn’t the first to lose the weight to become a character. Christian 6 Bale, best known as the muscular bad man lost 63 pounds to film The Machinist. Tom Hanks lost 50 pounds to play a plane crash survivor 7 in the film Cast Away. That was the second time he lost his major weight for a role after 1993’s Philadelphia. And Beyonce lost 20 pounds for her leading role in the film Dream Girls.
When you do something that dramatically on your appearance, you lose a lot of weight, you’re putting a kind of effort that takes to do that. You’re much more likely to get noticed by your appears that translate you usually into a word and that actually was love.
And you can see McConaughey in the Dallas Buyers Club next year when it comes out.
