[02:34.33]and go from house to house singing christmas songs.

[03:13.31]They do this for fun and to bring the spirit of christmas to the people in cach house.

[03:51.55]-Children put a stocking 1 at the end of their beds before they go to sleep.

[04:34.81]Their parents usually tell them that Father Christmas will come during the night.

[07:43.80]Can a man really climb down the chimney of every house in the world in a single night?

[08:30.56]In Turkey,there once was a man named Saint 5 Nicholas.

[08:37.83]He was a very shy person.

[08:41.48]He wanted to give money to the poor.

[09:15.65]But he did not want them to know that the money come from him.

[09:33.41]he didn't know what to do.

[09:40.68]It is said that one day he climbed to the top of a house

[09:48.12]and dropped some money down a chimney.

[10:17.30]It went into a stocking that a little girl had hung by the fireplace 6 to dry!

[10:57.45]Even though Father Christmas is no longer living,

[11:04.11]his spirit of generosity 7 lives on today.

[13:08.53]Children wake up very early,and can't wait to open the presents in their stockings and under the tree.
