过去时』
past tense
1、一般过去时
past simple
I had dinner with Ruby 1 yesterday.
我昨天和Ruby吃了晚饭。
2、过去进行时
past continuous
I was having dinner with Ruby when you called me.
你打给我的时候，我正在跟Ruby吃晚饭。
3、过去完成时
past perfect
By the time he came home, I'd had dinner with Ruby already.
他回来的时候，我已经跟Ruby吃过晚饭了。
4、过去完成进行时
past perfect
By the time he came home, I'd been having dinner with Ruby for half an hour.
他回来的时候，我跟Ruby已经吃了半个小时晚饭了。
