The Director of the State Council's Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, Wang Guangya, says that the central government will always support Hong Kong and Macao, and stick to the "One Country, Two Systems" principle.
"I can responsibly say that policy in Hong Kong is consistent and firm. The central government will adhere to the "One Country, Two Systems" policy, and follow two principles. One, the policy won't change in any condition, and two, the policy will be fully and accurately implemented in the right direction. The central government will always support Hong Kong and Macao to maintain long-term prosperity and stability," he said.
