President Xi Jinping has stressed to promote the supply-side reform and improve people's livelihood in China's Hunan province. When joining a panel discussion with lawmakers from that province.
Xi said it's important to propel the supply-side reform in agricultural industry, enhance the comprehensive efficiency and competitiveness of the agricultural sector, and use technologies to shore up its development.
He added ensuring food security has always been the top priority concerning national economy and people's livelihood, urging further perfecting policies and boosting crop production capacity.
