The first session of the 13th National People's Congress has concluded here in Beijing.Among other agenda, lawmakers passed resolutions on the reports of the national economic and social development plan as well as the central and local budgets.At the closing session, Chinese President Xi Jinping vowed 1 to continue to serve as a servant of the people.He called for more efforts in achieving the goal of building China into a great modern socialist 2 country.Meantime, the Chinese president said this country's development does not pose a threat to any other country.After the closing session of the NPC, Premier 3 Li Keqiang took the opportunity of a wide-ranging press conference to talk about domestic and global issues, promising 4 that China will continue to pursue peaceful development and will never seek expansion.
