A wild Asian elephant has been seen strolling 1 through the downtown area of the city of Pu'er in Yunnan on Saturday evening, April 7. Officials say the elephant wandered through the streets for a few hours before finally growing tired of 'window shopping' and returning to the nearby forest.
Police in Pu'er were called out to keep people out of the path of the elephant. No one was hurt.
