At least 38 people are dead following a fire at a nursing home in Henan.
Six others are being treated in hospital for injuries. Two of them suffer serious injuries.
A fire broke out in the facility in Lushan County, which is in the Pingdingshan area, around 8 last night.
It took crews around an hour to knock down the deadly blaze.
Few other details have been made available.
The facility is home to around a hundred seniors.
It remains 1 unclear at this point what sparked the blaze.
China and Chile have signed a host of cooperation deals including a multi-billion US dollar currency swap 2 agreement, as part of Chinese Premier 3 Li Keqiang's time in the country.
The deals cover such areas as politics, trade, finance, mining, agriculture, production capacity and science and technology.
The People's Bank of China has also entered into a 3-year currency swap agreement with Chile's central bank worth 22 billion yuan, or around 3.5 billion U.S. Dollars.
The two sides are also going to look at upgrading their decade-old free trade agreement.
Under the deals, a renminbi clearing bank is also being established in Chile, the first in South America.
