NPC Standing Committee Chairman Zhang Dejiang attended panel discussions of delegations from Hong Kong and Macao.
Zhang spoke of progress made under the "one country, two systems" policy. And he said Hong Kong and Macao could achieve more during the 13th Five Year Plan period. He stressed that the two special administrative regions should continue on the correct path of development.
Zhang said Hong Kong should seek development, stability and harmony. And he encouraged Macao to make full use of the central government's preferential policies to find a new path for sustainable development.
