'Capharnaum', a new film by Lebanese director Nadine Labaki, has recently premiered at the Shanghai International Film Festival.
The film, which vividly 1 portrays 2 the poorest slum life in Lebanon, earned Labaki the jury prize at the Cannes Film Festival to become the first Arab filmmaker in 12 years to win in the official Cannes competition.
