This year's Cross-Strait Economic, Trade and Culture Forum 1 has been held in Shanghai.
It's a regular meeting between officials from the mainland and Taiwan.
The discussions have focused mostly on cross-strait exchanges in science and technology, as well as culture, education and the development of the two-sides respecive small and medium sized business sectors 2.
It has also seen a meeting between the mainland's top political advisor 3, Yu Zhengsheng, and the chair of Taiwan's ruling Kuomintang Party, Eric Chu.
Chu is currently on visit to the mainland.
He's due to meet with General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Xi Jinping later on this Monday.
More than 7,200 people have now been confirmed dead in the devastating 4 earthquake in Nepal. Over 14,100 others were injured.
The World Health Organization has been sending teams to the affected 5 areas to help with medical aid and epidemic 6 prevention.
The quake has done great harm to the country's tourism industry as at least 14 historic buildings have been in ruins.
12 of these are UNESCO World Heritage sites.
