The WoW festival, the Women of the World festival, has taken place this weekend in Beijing.
Jude Kelly, director of the festival, is also the artistic 1 director of London's Southbank Centre, one of the UK's premier 2 cultural centers.
Ahead of the WoW festival, which has taken place at the Tianqiao Performing Arts Center yesterday, CRI's Xu Fei spoke 3 with Jude Kelly about why they wanted to put on the Women of the World event in China.
