2017年CRI JD.com to launch office-based automated food service concept

Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com is reportedly planning to launch an office-based automated 1 food service concept targeting white-collar workers.
The service, provided by the company's delivery business JD Daojia, would involve dedicated 2 office areas with high-tech 3 vending 4 machines, with snacks and beverages 5 set to be served.
The move would mark one of the biggest changes in offline retailing 6 to date for JD.com, as many e-commerce firms are taking interest in traditional brick-and-mortar concepts with high-tech touches, which might help complement 7 their online services.
