Peter Saunders is himself a survivor 3 of abuse. Cardinal Pell has described the comments as outrageous 4, saying he’s always taken a strong stand against child sexual abuse. Mr. Saunders says Cardinal Pell should be removed. ‘And I think it’s critical that he’s moved aside, that he’s sent back to Australia, and the pope takes the strongest action against him’. An inquest will begin today into Blue Mountains bushfires eighteen months ago which destroyed around two-hundred homes. The townships of Springwood, Winmalee and Yellow Rock were the hardest hit by the fires in October 2013. The Blue Mountains council estimates that one-hundred-million dollars was lost because of a droping tourism in the wake of the fires.
