Jim's team acknowledged their defeat.
Jim
Jim's team admitted their defeat.
Jim
→Jim's team admitted their defeat, but they didn't acknowledge it.
2.loss noun.
释义:the fact of no longer having something, or of having less of it than you used to have, or the process by which this happens 损失,减少; 丢失,遗失; 损耗,亏损; 失败;
例句:She said his death was a great loss to herself.
You must compensate 3 me for this loss.
I was at a loss for what to do next (be at a loss :to be confused and uncertain about what to do or say)
lose(动词)-lost(形容词)-loss(名词)
3.graceful 1 adj.
grace-graceful-gracefully
