“清清浊浊元浊”在动词过去式的运用
规则的过去式变化是+ed,而这个ed有时发清辅音/t/有时发浊辅音/d/,记住清清浊浊的口诀即可。

“单词最后一个音是清辅音(声带不震动),则ed发清辅音的/t/”
moved /d/
“单词最后一个音是浊辅音(声带震动了),则ed发清辅音的/d/”
stayed, played /d/
“单词最后为元音,则ed也发浊辅音的/d/”
另外有个特殊情况,这里也可以用一个口诀“t, d后面发/id/”
wanted, visited /ɪd/
handed /ɪd/
“清清浊浊元浊”在名词复数的运用
同理,规则的名词复数是+s,而这个s有时发/s/有时发/z/,记住清清浊浊的口诀即可。

dogs, legs, rooms /z/
cars, /z/
另外有个特殊情况,就是以t和d结尾的名词,加了s之后是直接发/ts/或/dz/
cats, pets, aunts /ts/
hands, birds /dz/
补充说明:以s、x、sh、ch结尾的名词后加-es发/ɪz/。如词尾是e,只加-s
class-classes/box-boxes/dish-dishes/watch-watches/horse-horses /ɪz/
