2. House Republicans have introduced their version of a bill to ban Congress members from insider trading. This version of the bill would ban lawmakers from using their positions to invest in initial public stock offerings.
3. Russia's foreign minister says Syrian President Bashar Assad wants his vice 2 president to negotiate with opposition 3 forces. The opposition wants Assad to step down.
4. And fishermen in Pakistan needed cranes to lift this catch out of the water. The whale shark, already dead when it was found, is 39 feet long. It was reportedly auctioned 4 off for $18,000.
