1. Four days after the election, President Barack Obama can finally claim victory in Florida. With nearly 100 percent of the votes counted, Obama was declared the winner, giving him 332 to 406 final margin 1 in the Electoral College.

4. Thousands of angry students and teachers have taken to the streets of Rome Saturday. It's all part of the nationwide protest against schools budget cuts and other measures aimed at tackling the country's debt crisis.
